Die Improvisation und experimentelle Musik definieren mich. Es gibt keine Netze, wir fallen nicht, wir steigen nicht. Es gibt kein Bewusstsein und kein Unbewusstsein. Was existiert, ist das erhabene Glück, zu sein – als Klang, als Impuls, als Ausdruck.

„Notre“, weil die Wiedereröffnung der Notre-Dame in Frankreich gefeiert wird, und weil es eine glückliche Fügung ist, dass Weihnachten, die katholische Mission im Hintergrund und ein echtes „Wir“ zusammenfallen.

Es hätte Anfang 2024 so sein sollen, wie es 1998 mit einem Workshop mit Carlos Zíngaro war. Aber es ist letztlich jetzt und immer, weil ich mich selten lebendiger fühle als in diesen Momenten.

A improvisação e música experimental definem-me. Não há redes, não caímos nem subimos. Não há consciência nem inconsciência. O que existe é a sublime felicidade de ser enquanto som, enquanto impulso enquanto discurso.

"Notre" porque se celebra a reabertura do Notre Dame em França sendo também uma feliz coincidência o Natal, a Missão Católica de fundo e um "nós" genuíno.

Era para ter sido assim no início de 2024, como o foi em 1998 com uma workshop com o Carlos Zíngaro. É afinal agora e sempre, porque raramente me sinto mais vivo como nestes momentos.

Improvisation and experimental music define me. There are no safety nets; we neither fall nor rise. There is no consciousness or unconsciousness. What exists is the sublime happiness of being – as sound, as impulse, as expression.

"Notre" because it celebrates the reopening of Notre Dame in France, and it’s also a happy coincidence with Christmas, the Catholic Mission in the background, and a genuine "us".

It was meant to happen at the start of 2024, just as it did in 1998 with a workshop with Carlos Zíngaro. But it is, after all, now and always, because I rarely feel more alive than in these moments.
