Existem alturas em que tudo se funde. Mesmo dando aulas de guitarra há 12 anos surpreendo-me sempre com a riqueza dos momentos. Passinho a passinho evoluímos e somos mais fortes e coesos enquanto turma.

O último mês foi particularmente difícil por questões familiares mas a turma encontrou arte e engenho não só para interpretar 6 temas como, também seguir uma espécie de tradição e adaptar mais um tema ao Magusto (eram dois, foram três agora no total), neste caso uma música muito querida com o qual encerramos o concerto, o "Postal dos Correios" ou literalmente o "Postal da Castanha Assada" em que a quarta estrofe foi alterada para:

"Cá chegou direitinho a encomenda

Pelo Expresso que parou na Missão

Jeropiga e Castanhas Portuguesas

Sempre dá praquecer o Coração"

Também houve espaço para me libertar no Saxofone e participar em nesta canção e na anterior dos INXS, algo que se não me engano é a primeira vez.

Por isso um enorme obrigado às fabulosas guitarras do Luís e da Joana e às maravilhosas vozes da Nádia (acabadinhada de chegar de Cabo Verde), da Inês Dantas (acabadinha de chegar de um almoço de aniversário de uma Tia), da Gisela, da Teresa, do Johannes e da Paula.

E já se fala do concerto de Natal... em que Cajón ou percursão, guitarra e baixo eléctrico deveriam fazer parte... bem como as Mamonas Assassinas, Excesso, Marco Paulo e muitos outros cúmplices...

Es gibt Momente, in denen alles miteinander verschmilzt. Obwohl ich schon seit 12 Jahren Gitarre unterrichte, bin ich immer wieder überrascht, wie reich diese Momente sind. Schritt für Schritt entwickeln wir uns weiter und werden als Gruppe stärker und geschlossener.

Der letzte Monat war wegen familiärer Probleme besonders schwierig, aber die Klasse hat die Kunst und den Einfallsreichtum gefunden, nicht nur sechs Lieder zu spielen, sondern auch einer Art Tradition zu folgen und ein weiteres Lied an das Magusto anzupassen (es waren zwei, jetzt sind es insgesamt drei), in diesem Fall ein sehr beliebtes Lied, mit dem wir das Konzert beendeten, "Postal dos Correios" oder wörtlich "Postal da Castanha Assada", dessen vierte Strophe geändert wurde in

"Hier kam das Paket direkt

Mit dem Express, der bei der Mission

Jeropiga und die portugiesischen Kastanien

Es wärmt immer das Herz".

Außerdem durfte ich mich auf dem Saxophon austoben und bei diesem und dem vorhergehenden INXS-Song mitwirken, was, wenn ich mich nicht irre, eine Premiere ist.

Also ein großes Dankeschön an die fabelhaften Gitarren von Luís und Joana und die wunderbaren Stimmen von Nádia (gerade zurück von den Kapverden), Inês Dantas (gerade zurück vom Geburtstagsessen bei einer Tante), Gisela, Teresa, Johannes und Paula.

Und wir reden schon vom Weihnachtskonzert... mit Cajón oder Percussion, Gitarre und E-Bass... sowie die Mamonas Assassinas, Excesso, Marco Paulo und viele andere Komplizen...

There are times when everything comes together. Even though I've been teaching guitar for 12 years, I'm still surprised by the richness of the moments. Step by step we are developing and becoming stronger and more cohesive as a group.

The last month has been particularly difficult due to family problems, but the class has found the art and ingenuity to not only perform six songs, but also to follow a kind of tradition and adapt another song to the Magusto (there were two, now there are three in total), in this case a very popular song with which we closed the concert, "Postal dos Correios" or literally "Postal da Castanha Assada", in which the fourth stanza has been changed to

"Here came the parcel

By the express that stopped at the mission

Jeropiga and Portuguese chestnuts

Always warms the heart".

There was also room for me to let loose on the saxophone and take part in this and the previous INXS song, which if I'm not mistaken is a first.

So a big thank you to the fabulous guitars of Luís and Joana and the wonderful voices of Nádia (just back from Cape Verde), Inês Dantas (just back from an aunt's birthday lunch), Gisela, Teresa, Johannes and Paula.

And we're already talking about the Christmas concert... which should include cajón or percussion, guitar and electric bass... as well as the Mamonas Assassinas, Excesso, Marco Paulo and many other accomplices...
